Got the little Black car out this AM for some wake up attention . . . . drove around 20 miles down some roads that are perfect for her . . . . after that was so inspired that we took a trip to Old Saybrook and retrieved the 280z from hibernation after getting it running we decided to bring it home to share the garage with it's sister. Was great driving the 280z up from Saybrook (60+ miles) we had a blast (my wife couldn't even keep up after a while  ). . . . I wonder what the smartazz modern highway speeders thought when they couldn't shake me . . . . . :P
I have been considering selling one of the cars fairly seriously and I can honestly say that after today they are both for sale . . . . . for Frank's magic price of 1mill each  your choice. 8)

See how that happens? The deeper you fall in love with your Z, the higher the price climbs. 8)

I suppose different parts of the state have had different weather, but it has rained many times since the snow last fell on us here hard enough to warrant road salt. I felt very confident, and I know several other Clubbies have put miles on their cars already, too.
If anything falls off my Z I'll say you told me so.

Alan I agree but after the rain along the trip I made . . up 9 to 91 north . . . I saw no residue. Around my Town (somers) I had not seen any on the roads I travelled on today.
It was just too god of a day not to want to get out and enjoy it.

Ah, so Karl's in love again! it makes your heart go pitter patter  .
I had my Z out today for a short run as well. Roads are pretty clear here in the Naugatuck valley, just a little bit of sand here and there on the hilly backroads.

It sure sounds to me that a fun run should happen soon!

Frank, did you get yours out today? Fuel pump working well? Legs holding up?

John, I got mine out for 20 miles in concentric circles around my base, testing the new fuel pump. First time out since late last year! My hips, the fuel pump, and then the winter road salt kept it in the garage for about 5 solid months.
I am delighted to report I slid right in and out of the driver's seat without any pain, and both legs folded as advertiZed! it's wonderful to be able to drive my Z again! YeeeHAAAA!

Here's hoping you get bitten by the Z Bug again soon, Jay.
(Except now you'd probably have to sell one of the kids to buy one).

I've got patience, which I certainly fine tuned over the years of slowly rebuilding my old Z haha. There were times I thought I'd never get it done.

It'll happen again at some point I'm sure.
