I'm sure y'all know The 3.4L Green Hornet, 1970 car #221 in California, but it never hurts to take a quick spin around Laguna Seca just to chase the winter blues away.

I discovered this car a few years ago, it's an amazing build! I think my favorite part is how he kept the car in such great shape, and very stock looking for such a highly modified car. It's great. Also he's had the car for many years, and it's evolved over time.

I read that he went through quite a few engine blocks before they found one that could be bored out enough for the build, I guess there are variations from the casting process from one to another. This one took a very large bore to hit the displacement goal he set. Don't quote me but I feel like it was more than ten blocks they checked.

It's a beautiful car, thanks for posting!

Probably my favorite Z videos.

I posted a similar video link back on July 25th. I just love the sound and all of the seamless clips he has put together along with the cool telemetry. He has posted lots of videos on YouTube, but my favorite one shows him leaving the track after a day of racing with his little trailer in tow :D . He has certainly mastered the Laguna Seca course and it's quirky "corkscrew" turn.
