Overall OK. I hate the nose as the front grill has all the charm of a large bass's open mouth. I would consider buying one but only in black to make the grill visually less apparent. Happy with a 400 hp TT and manual. No millennial is buying this! A targa top would be nice too.

I agree. I have heard from several Z lovers who just don't love this Z. Nissan seems to be hanging their hopes on the 400hp, rather than on a new design. They keep missing opportunities to offer an improved version of the old S30 cars.

That said, none of us has seen a real one yet, and we might learn to love it.
Good to hear from you, Doc.

I agree that the grille is too large, but the lines are much closer to the "right" ones than they have been in a long time. I'm excited to see this car in person, and I'm very happy that it has the look of a Z.

Fwiw I'd have done the taillights differently, and the lines over the wheel arches aren't as delicate as the S30 ones were. But this was supposed to recall the earlier Z's without replicating it, a new Z with the DNA of its ancestors.

I see it. And on paper it's a higher powered, much lighter car which should make it a hoot!

I like the rather clean lines of this new Z "version". I was never a fan of overdone sculpturing of body panels (like the BMW Z4 vs. it's Z3 predecessor). I agree that the front grill opening needs to be narrowed down some, perhaps by placing some functional front disc ducts, or oil cooler opening down low. Much better than the "catfish" look. 8)
