I've caught better looking catfish.
Why didn't they just move those fins back to the rear fenders?

I'll bet MSA will offer a "whisker kit" for the nose. Should we drive it or eat it?

It's even got its own snowplow for winter.

Catfish! HA! HA! Love Frank's description.

As an original 240Z owner, I guess I was holding out for a more retro look. Let's face it, others car companies have been able to release retro versions of their original sporty cars, some better executed than others like the Mazda Miata, Dodge Challenger and to some extent the Ford Mustang for example.

Nissan, I think, is faced with a real dilemma. Do they really come up with a true 240Z like retro which may appeal to those of us that loved those cars then and now, or do they go more mainstream and merely update their current platform. Today, these are both risky steps as the market for sports cars today is not what it was 50 years ago with more luxury sports sedans and of course SUV's selling best to the masses.

Finally, one thing I hope they NEVER add to any design they come out with, (if they ever do), is adding phony scoops, vents, or ducts that serve no functional purpose. God, I hate them!

Oh, wow! I'd be on-board with that!
Where did you find that design?

SketchMonkey shows us how he came up with that idea. He envisions it as a mid-engine V6 with a bunch of ponies:

I would still prefer the classic front engine/RWD layout, mainly because mid engine cars are a bear to service.

Well that's much better  The top picture looks like something from Lexus. I'll take a Lymond colored one.

I hope they go back to a straight six, 4.0 liter, dual turbo with intercoolers and aftercoolers and front and rear spoilers that extract when you get up to 150 mph so you can continue to go 220 mph. ...........and headlight washers.
