WELL! I got the right lugnutz for my new wheels and took the Z out for 100 miles today. Nothing fell off and everything feels tight, so I guess I'm good to go for long trips again.
This was the first time I've been able to really test the new tires/wheels and I was mightily impressed. Car speeds around highway ramps like it's glued to the deck.

 Haha!
Yeah, that's next, coming up next week. Then I get it detailed and have Vinny rig a custom PVC hose from the cam cover, and I'm all set for the year ~ just in time for Lake George, the picnic, and winter storage. I also want to get it chassis dyno'd before storage this year, now that the tach works and I finally have full-contact lugs nuts. I'm hoping for about 190whp which would equate to about 220 at the flywheel.

I missed a lot of miles this year, but I certainly accomplished a long list of things I wanted to do to the car. Some of them would still not be done if I hadn't thought I was headed for Germany with it.
