Has anyone that had their carbs rebuilt at ztherapy noticed markings on the rear side of the throttle plates closest to the intake manifold. I bought a set of carbs, intake manifold, linkages and the whole lot today. When looking them over closely. I noticed the etchings dates, maybe a serial number and an instription. Its hard to see down the intake runners and everything os so perfect I don’t want to separate anything.

Thanks
Bruce

Maybe it’s their way of recording work performed by them.
I collect medium to high end watches and repair guys will engrave the caseback as a SOP.
I always ask them not to.
In this case they should ask the owner before marking.
I have only heard good things about Ztherapy. In fact I was going to send mine in and the guy I spoke to said I didn’t really need to.

Contacted Ztherapy and they confirmed the carbs I bought were rebuilt in September of 2016. They could not tell me what needle or jets are in it. A small part of me will miss having “good” flat tops, but I won’t miss all the extra air lines. After my usual 45 mile cruise on Sunday I did my favorite idle test... how low can you go? And how smooth can you be. Glass test at 1:50. https://youtu.be/lDVpgAVARDQ
