Thanks for 2018, everybody; Z y'all next year!

It was my 10th year with the Club, and 13 years for Ross, Jimmy H and Mike Rosann.

I notice I have made 12,991 posts since I joined. If I can generate just 9 more posts before midnight, I will close-out 2018 with 13,000 posts. Can I do it? Should I do it?

ok, post #19,992;

Jay Leno sure had a lot of technical facts wrong about the first 240z, including the year it was introduced. Nice video tho, and I'm happy to see them focus on the early cars Nissan made during the '50s and '60s.

They are advertising that Fairlady 432 as a 1970 car in the headlines, altho it doesn't have the 'wings' of the first production year Z. When we hosted our guest Jason Winget and his dog from Salt Lake City who drove his 1970 right-hand-drive Japanese Fairlady around the perimeter of the USA, his car had wings. They later in the description claim it is a 1972 car.

One of the videos following that one was about the beautiful 1958 Ferrari 250 which was nicknamed the Tour de France or 'TDF'. The car was remarkable for its day and debuted to win that event, earning it the unofficial name of 'tif'. Ferrari never called it that.
