We recently received a call from Bruce about his 240Z and that it was in need of a "going through". This time capsule car is near all original and has not been driven for the last 4 or so years.
It arrived by flatbed and we got right to work assessing its condition.
Carbs were corroded and gunked up badly, fuel was aged beyond its usefulness, all the fluids (i.e. tranny, diff, brake and clutch) were original. Additionally, the front lower ball joints, sway bar end links, and tie rod ends were shot.
We updated Bruce and he agreed lets move to change all of it.
We also restored the chrome which we pulled back from the edge of needing complete restoring and new plating.
A little over a week later she is running like a dream.
