Post subject: | Photo assignment: Z & Bridge |
Years ago I used to run a photo contest and show them at monthly meetings. I like taking pictures of my Z and like seeing pictures of Z cars, in different settings. We had some great entries in the past. Now I will post an assignment once a month while just to see what happens. (Feel free to message me ideas for subjects! don't post the ideas on the forum! I don't want anyone getting a head start on future assignments) Assignment August 2014: Z & Bridge Post a photo of your Z on, near, or in front of a Bridge. Have fun. ( as soon as it stops raining I'll head out to find a bridge) |

I think Keith already had this excellent picture before he announced the contest. I don't zee any rain evident in the pic ~ not on the ground, not in the grass, not btw the bridge spans, not on any objects. No mud on the tires. No tire tracks from the Z. Nary a drop anywhere on the Z. I think KSH simply surpriZed himself with an astoundingly good shot of his perfectly clean KSH FSH and was so impressed, he decided to make a contest out of it. Now I've gotta go find a bridge. Good to have this contest back again. Frank T |

Does the file appear huge on everyone's machine, or is that just me? I can't see the whole photo at once. I find that on this forum and a few others, I have to upload the files to be 1000 pixels wide, or smaller. anything over that, and the picture starts to go off the forum. |

I guess that hasn't been resolved yet in our new website format. We all get the same thing, and I often can't transfer event photos onto here because they come out like roadmaps and override the capacity of the website. |

I'll resize and repost. These were posted from my iPad and I did not reduce the file size. |

Our '07 350Z Grand Touring roadster at Red Bridge in Meriden, CT. Red Bridge, over the Quinnipiac River, was built in 1891 by the Berlin Iron Bridge Company and was in use until 1964 when it was replaced by the current concrete span.
