Well, tonight's the meeting, Officers are ineligible to win and our album is limited.... 8)

This should be an easy decision.

Sorry I had to miss the meeting Wed. nite. As it turns out, I had to take delivery of
a car. Seems last wed. 13th a chevy pickem up decided to take a left turn into the
drivers side of my xj8 on Dixwell Ave. in Hamden. I decided best course of action was
to take the total, buy car back from Ins. at salvage. I then cut a deal with a friend who
deals in Jags for him to take car in trade and use as a parts car (because of salvage title)
and on another XJ8. That's what I had to P/U on Wed. in Farmington.
Still can't figure out how the fender got rolled over the tire and there was no suspension
or tire/wheel damage. Car was still drivable. Never saw it coming until impact.
Jack

So I guess Frank was correct in his original comments. Keith had a great shot available and used the
"MONTHLY contest" as an excuse to get it posted.

Here we are .. Sept. 4th ......... sitting on our respective thumbs waiting for a new assignment.
I remember a car model contest that at least got us thru the winter, but fizzled at the end point.

Sooooooooooo ...... how bout Z's by water? another tough one for Keith

I'd like to Z everyone elligible ...... let's make an exception.

Jack

If you look beyond the big boats in the upper right hand corner is the Newport Bridge. BTW, that's the USS Eisenhower. The arch of metal, where the guy is not suppose to be standing, yea, guards will come after you if you cross the street, which they did to this guy, is the Sub Antenna testing station my wife works at. The road we are on is the only stretch of road to enjoy Z ride on this Island

And here is one taken by Diego Perri. I think this one wins the prize of free food at next season's meetings!

Hmm, I could throw a few in for the "by the water" idea.
These aint no CT waters...
