Trying to see if the stars will align this weekend for me to go look at a Datsun for sale in Norwalk CT. Anyone in the area that can maybe spare an hour? Would be helpful if someone who knows more about the S30s could "supervise".

Thanks!

I dont know 280Z EFI but I do know where to look for S30 rust (which usually ends up being the most expensive issue especially if you cant weld)

Hello sir!

It would be sweet if we could meet up. I haven't finalized anything with the owner, yet, shall I PM you regarding schedules?

I'm in the process of fixing the floor of my 78 280z so I'm very familiar with where rust loves to hide (frame rails, rocker panels, wheel wells, and trunk opening, not to mention the obvious holes in the floor. I'm in Easton about 30min from Norwalk so let me know if you need any help.

No worries. Just let me know if you do get through and need the help. I once considered buying a 240 and when I crawled under the car and poked my finger into the floor it went straight through. You just don't know with these cars until you start poking around. The good news is that nearly all rust issues are fixable, but at a price.
