I'm back stateside and started digggin into the current door. Less than pleasant. .. bout a half inch of bondo on there... I haven't got it all off yet, but its not looking good. Going to be a lot of reshaping. To boot the lock hole is pretty mangled. I could try and solder/spot weld some metal in there or glass it, but neither will be incredibly strong.

I have a good door for you. I haven't taken panel off, but I don't see any rust on the bottom, straight as an arrow. It's all yours if you want to make the trip.

Ha! Yea, I saw that story on the local news last week and said the same thing to my wife!

Ive got it on the operating table now. Gonna knock off the little bit of surface red and paint it a nice shade of white to match "Old Speeder" as my son named her some years ago.
