Thanks Filipe. The only downside this week was having the car inspected by three very serious looking judges. No amount of bad Z jokes or folded cash would dissuade them from pointing out all of the defects on my car!

Oh well, I have to say the ride home from crisp, cool NH with my son was one of the highlights of my summer.

So glad I went!

I'm excited to hear the results.

Sounds like your boy is going to fill in your shoes just fine one day. Glad he's getting the Z fever now!

A low mileage Black Pearl for sale on e-bay. No stripes, no rear louvers and only one racing mirror. But it's low-mileage and looks to be in real nice shape. He's looking for $39.5k. Hope he doesn't need that cash any time soon.

He claims he's the original owner, too.

Our Arkansas member Chris Parent should hear about this ASAP, altho I doubt he'd be excited about the price tag.

Gee Ross, if this thing is worth $40,000 with the missing parts, that should make yours worth well over $50,000.

Well, yes, I hope my car would command a premium now that it has all of the original components. But I don't think this guy will get anywhere near $40k for that car. With the low mileage and nice condition, I suspect it's worth more like $20k.

Well after some scheduling problems, we finally got together with Diego Perri yesterday for a photo shoot of my cars for an upcoming ZCCM article. I recruited Alan Dempsey to drive one of the cars and we headed over to Harriman state park in NY. After that we went to some locations that Diego likes in northern NJ. Many more photos to come, but here are a few that I took (not Diego's).

It was a long day and Alan was a great Z buddy to do this with me. The cars will never be this clean again!

This is a shot Diego took while driving through Harriman.

OK, here are my 5 guesses about what those suction-cup stick-on flexible poles are for:

1. Jousting with oncoming traffic?
2. Poking drivers or passengers in Triumph roadsters when their tops are down?
3. Knocking those pesky bicyclists out of the way as you approach intersections?
4. Crossing the finish line a full second before your car actually gets there?
5. Making sure nobody parks anywhere near your Z?

Buster Keaton or Charlie Chapman could have a lot of fun with those.

Who else has an idea?

Well the road was almost closed. It was in a corporate office park and during our two hours there, only one car came through. The boom holds a camera at the end and photographs both cars as they are moving. Diego then photoshops out the boom to produce some really great "driving" shots.

So next issue, we can expect to zee your cars in ZCCM and John T's car in Sports and Exotic Car magazine.
Just how cool is this Club? 8)

Both Al and Graham will have special memories about the ZCCM article when it's printed.

Actually, I saw our write-up in the most-recent ZCCM. Well done, whomever composed that. It was an excellent reflection of what our CTZCC is and does.
