Not all, no shelf life. Honestly the past two cars built (240z) were not up to my standards per say. I never built any cars before I did the 73 car. I moved on to the 71 and tho it looked great, the finish fit wasn't good. The 74 I bought has emotional value has it belonged to Joe (rags) for nearly 30 yrs. Also the car has an ol skool frame kit done back in the day:

If you look closely you can see in the rocker area there is box tubing that is welded to a rod that connects to the tc rod area. This box tube runs inside the rocker panel and connects to the roll bar through frame connectors which also is connect to the trans tunnel on each side. This car is amazingly solid, none of the plastic interior makes noise even over a speed bump - night and day compared to my stock body 260z or any other car I owned. If will try to scan the old article I have from The Z Center from the 80s showing the "kit".

Frank you are right about one thing for sure, the best "driver" car is the 280z. Smoother, beefier "frames" and all the upgrades needed on an earlier car -r200-ms bar- stub axle and more. Even better if you can use a later car with factory AC which the new car has. I am very excited about this car though I have not touched it and I am sure it is the car I will never sell.

Gas tank swapped!

Out with the old suspension:

Hard to tell here but all parts are new techno toy or freshly powder coated. Cross member and v8 mounts look great. Plan to have the struts back in by the end of the week and start running brake lines. If all goes well, going to try to install the engine this Sunday.

The push is on!

I'm semi-jealous already.

Hey, is that antenna stock? Somebody on here asked awhile ago for us to measure a fully extended stock antenna so he could mount his properly (or something).

Got time to measure it?

I wouldve had a fit if that wasnt #1!...not that I can talk from experience  . Super versatile engine can be found in family sedans and even the SSC Ultimate Aero which took the top speed crown from the Veyron on a closed highway straight (until the Super Sport came out).
