ACHTUNG! ACHTUNG!

Altho it's HUGELY tempting to take my Z out of the garage for a Last Blast during these final clear, dry days, I have noticed that the hilly roads of both Hamden and Branford have already been salted!

I thought I saw some in Wallingford, too, but wasn't sure.

If anyone zees obvious Road Salt in other towns, pleaZe warn us.

Branford, especially, has tons of it already....far more than was needed for the light dusting of snow we got last week. On dry roads, salt gathers along the centerline of the roadways and looks like somebody spilled sugar.

As we all know, this stuff KILLS Z carz.

I just got done driving up to Niagara falls....(My last time; I officially live here now) my red truck is now totally crusted white. I'm gonna take it to the car wash tomorrow. I went through almost a gallon of windshield washer fluid.

Same here in Manchester NH. Not an inch of snow on the ground (although we're supposed to get a storm sunday night, I'llbelieve it when I see it), and they've sanded and salted everywhere! LAME!

Ah well, my subie loves it.

Our roads here in the Rochester area look like sugar-coated donuts! My Zs have been off the road since Halloween, won't emerge again until around mid-April. Such is life in the snow belt!

But April to October??? OH YEAH!
