Well after a very busy summer, I am planning on the next few things for EVIL Z and #1905. EVIL Z has not seen much road time this past year and #1905 is in paint jail....still but I am ok with it. I have a garage to clean out to store one of the cars here in the city with me.

Wish list for winter on Evil Z:

Fuel cell
Re-run fuel lines
New front rotors
New welded brace for rear diff
Install heat
New head and dyno tune
Finish the last 10% of stuff needed to be done.

I didn't have any real issues with the car this year and it performed well at the track this year. But there are a tone of things I am not happy with it and really plan to address them so I can drive the car more.

#1905:

I got this car for a great price and promised I wouldn't sell it. For some time I was back and forth between a resto or resto mod. I went with resto mod of course but said I would keep the motor a L series...blah blah blah. Well after sometime now, I have now started to sell off all the L series turbo parts I have. I always liked to have something different from the norm and always wanted a turbo car. With that said, I am going 2jz with #1905. Yes for the purist, a toyota engine This build will not take place until I finish EVIL Z and sold off most of my "extra" parts to fund this build. So you can look for new threads in the future about that build.

So the next few months should be a good one and hopefully 2011 will be the year I really get back into my Z cars. Time will tell...lol

So like any plan...it has changed again!

The L30 setup is now all sold! So now #1905 has no drivetrain :D

EVIL Z, is being dropped off next weekend for the work mentioned besides the head job. After adding up the cost, $3750 = 40rwhp and it didn't make any sense. The fuel cell and diff issues needed to be fixed. There will be a long tube header option soon so I will gain the HP there.

The extra money I would have spent is going towards bills. So EVIL Z will spend the winter in Rochester Ny while I still clean up parts I am selling and reorganizing my Z stash. #1905 will sit in NC.....free storage...before it makes its way down to Florida....yes Florida. Long story!

Sure, at the time I knew what I was going to do with it. Since I have not started yet to spend a bunch of money...I can keep the shell stored til a later date or sell it. It was a joke asking Frank if he wanted it.... btw, I knew where the matching number motor is.....Rick =)

Either way, it will sit here until a 2JZ/Trans combo comes up very cheap or someone I know wants it for a v8 swap.

Clive,
just curious but any reason for going 2jz over RB25/26 other then the bump in displacement? Going with the Jag mount method? Thinking about going with a VVTI motor or the aristo swap route?

2JZ motor is a USDM imported motor. I can go to the dealer and order any part I need. No upcharge or wait time. RB items you have to order ahead of time due to it coming from a JDM supplier. Plus the exotic sounds of the RB26 makes everything co$t. Stock 2JZ block is good for 1000hp! Of course I was only aiming for 600 =)
