ok figured i would put this out there. i am looking for the fastest way to get my swap done and frame straightened so my Z won't be at Airjockie's house too long.

what will be going on?

turbo motor from an 82 280zx will be swapped into my Z but before that can be done the frame needs to be straightened. after it is straightened since the old crossmember is twisted i have another one from Paul Mackin that will need to be cleaned up, new bushings installed and put back in. prior to dropping the motor a new clutch will be installed and then the motor can be bolted in. after that an exhaust system needs to be made. i would like to get the blowoff valve and intercooler installed but could always do those thing myself later. i am more concerned about have the motor in and running.

so if you are interested in lending a hand let me know. if you have knowledge in frame straightening that is good. if you can weld awesome! if you have done this swap before and just wanna lend a hand mechanically come on down. i am looking to do the swap in Nov. i should have the new clutch purchased and bushing kit for the crossmember ordered as well. we can figure out dates later. all help is greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Looks rough and tough as is. Why not leave it in the dark primer like
they sometimes do with hot rods nowadays, and call it the "RAT Z"--
not to mention RAT.Z would fit on the license plate.
FWIW.........~Rick~

Yeah ~ there's no way you could fit "MILLENNIUM FALCON" on a license plate!

Thor was strongly attracted to this 280Z, and returned to Germany referring to it as "dangerous" looking. The name has stuck.

I agree ~ it looks very capable, but somehow threatening.

See, to me, it looks like it belongs in this, instead, Mike:

(Edited to add)
Which is why I think you should go for this kind of a theme:

Isaac I love it! Sketch me some ideas and scan them in. And Frank I love that too but I think my Z is more dangerous than the millennium falcon. And the mad max car has Z lines. Minus the ridiculous blower and side exhaust. I really am contemplating a color change. Maybe semigloss black with some blue stripes somewhere. You guys are fueling me with ideas!
