I have it on very reliable authority that the new RDZ Motorsports has officially opened the bay doors of their spacious new garage facility for business! (YAAAY!)

Their bays are filling up with exotic Zs (and an Aston Martin) and they are already getting their fingers into the pie.

Watch this website for their official announcement, contact information and directions to their new Danbury site soon.

The whole Club is scheduled to meet at the new RDZ Motorsports speedbarn for our monthly meeting in October, but we are invited to casually wander in and look around before that.

I hope they have a dyno. I have been looking for a local Z place that might be able to validate the "seat-of-the-pants" fuel-spark tune on my turbo car.

I found this:

Hey, I have an idea ~ let's get together on a Saturday for a Fun Run to RDZ and zee for ourselves what they have?! :D

This coming Saturday we have the run up and down Rte 169, and many of the guyz are getting together on 28Aug to tear down a ZX, but maybe some weekend in September?

We could shoot for arrival at RDZ about 9-10AM, twist their arms for some donuts, and do a one hour walk-thru. I would feel guilty about staying longer than that ~ they have a living to make and we don't want to interfere.

Frank

Well, let's bait this hook and see who nibbles.

Who would be interested in a Saturday Fun Run to zee RDZ's new garage facility in Danbury? Date would be the first available Sat in Sept, time would be early enough to allow us to arrive there not later than 10AM.

Minimum cut-off will be 8 Zs; if we can't generate at least that much interest, we won't bother them.

There is no Bother at all. we want all members to feel welcome and to drop by any time they feel like it.
I encourage all to come and see.
please let me know what weekend the plan is for.
The weekend of the 11th of sept I will be out of town and would not want to miss out on seeing the joy on people's faces so if we could work around this date would be great, or even a sun morning fun run is good as well just let me know and I'll get the coffe and donuts. :D :D

I'm looking fwd to zeeing this place. I quit drinking coffee two years ago (COLD TURKEY!) and haven't had but one donut since I retired. So you guyz can scarf up the goodies while I scope out the facility and learn stuff about Zs.

I will need to make this trip on some Saturday (only), after my Z gets exorciZed from its present Gremlin. Nobody has to wait for me, but it would be cool if we all went in together, like a "Z-Raid"!

It won't be me this weekend, Scotty ~ my Z is still quitting unexpectedly, plus there are too many conflicting events this weekend. If possible, I want to see AJ's crowd in Meriden, and work on my Z a little.

But thanks for the open invite, and I will (WILL) zee you soon.

Frank
