I found this really nice set of 16x10 deep dish wheels for sale that I would like to use for my 240z. Unfortunately the wheels have a lug pattern of 5x4.5” (114.3mm) and I would like to have then filled and redrilled to a 4x4.5” lug pattern.

Anyone have any experience with getting wheels redrilled with a new lug pattern?
I have been doing a fair bit of internet research on the subject and it seems that a lot if people have had success getting wheels redrilled (especially on the BMW forums). On the flip side there are guys who say it is the worst thing you could possibly do.

instead of trying to fill the bolt holes of the wheels, maybe you can have the hubs and axle flanges redrilled to 5 lug.
