i agree with Ross. make it like the Chip Foose thunderbird. no canvas top at all. you really shouldn't drive a Z in the rain anyway. |

Two years ago some of us attended a car show and brought back pictures of a stunning yellow convertible Z. I don't recall where that entry is now, but whoever posted it, this would be a nice time to show that car again. The car had no top. When I asked what he does when it rains, I was told he uses an umbrella.

Actually, that is a picture of my Great Great Grand Uncle Carl. He and his family lived in the Conestoga Valley near Lancaster, PA. He bought his wagon from the local Mennonite German Settlers that actually invented it. Unlike most of the Covered Wagons of the time - the Mennonite's built everything extra heavy duty... It was kind of the Chevy 2500HD of it's time. See - American's have always loved large wagons... FWIW Carl B. |

Frank, that is the funniest Conestoga Wagon story I ever read, and am an avid reader of funny Conestoga Wagon stories!
I agree with Ross, use the top as a makeshift beach hammock, and drive on sunny days ONLY. |

Well I wouldn't go to this company, that is hidious. I've seen them done were the back has been made flat,like the z32 style, and that actually looks good, UP and down. Either way I wouldn't mess with the integral strength of my Z car, if I want A convertible I'll buy a 96 Jag XJS. My favorite convertible, or at least one that looks good as a convertible, and the Z so far has not interest me with convertibles, I'll be happy with T-tops. |
