Hi guys,

Does anyone have any contact info of the guys from the old Z center in Clifton, NJ? I know where Joe Casella, Joe Triollo and Bert Gartner are but what about the other guys? Anyone know what ever happened to Mike Janiak? That guy could weld and he did the nastiest hidden frame stiffening I've ever seen!

Joe

Also, what ever happened to the white, yellow, orange cars they ran? Casella said something about one of them being the car that the good Dr. has now. Did I hear wrong?

Yep, Dr. Robbins. The conversation took place last year. Could my memory be getting that bad that I have this all wrong? Clive was with me when we were having the conversation. Maybe he'll chime in to either confirm or deny my recollection.

From the story I heard, that car is now with Dr. R upstate NY. I will take a picture of the old Z center logo and post it here this weekend.

Dr Al is one of our members, and John Taddonio knows him (and his carz) pretty well. I only just met him when he was racing the Sam Posey car at Lime Rock last summer, so I dont' know all his cars. (I was surprized to see, for example, that he drives a GT-R when he's not racing his 'toyz').

John might know about the car you're referring to.

ALso, there's a rather large meeting there in Rochester this year, with some of the SharpSight racers scheduled, so why not swing up that way and zee the Good Doctor yrslf? It sounds like a justifiable excuse for having a good time, and you might even find the guyz you're looking for!
