Man I must have seen Rocky 3 a million times. I decided to watch it tonight and right in the beginning when Paulie is in the bar you can hear a commercial playing on the tv for a turbo 280zx. I must have the Z flu

speaking of finding Z's, I was just watching Seinfeld and spotted a 300zx as Jerry and George are in a cop car as Kramer is a suspected serial killer. I thought I was seeing things too, turns out I was right.

Z spotting in T.V. shows and movies has always been a favorite past time of mine. You'll go nuts trying to remember them all, yes, there is alot, more so in the older shows of course. Someone said here they spotted one on Night Rider, shoot, on that show some lady was driving a white 240 and got machined gunned off the road via helicopter. You'll see alot on that show, A-team, I saw Franks on Magnum P.I., and other shows like that with lots of road scenes. Adam-12, Rockford files, etc..... Then the movies......Now you got me goin....."The Post Man", there is a 280z in the beginning, etc...... This could be a good cabin Fever game, haha........even though I'm still out in the cold working on Z stuff.

Yea, but KIT is such a junky car, they could of at least put rims on it, instead of those cheap plastic hub caps. Some of the things they have KIT do is rediculus like racing on dirt tracks and such. It cracks me up.

Paul KITT has rims. Those are very hard to find now. They are bowling ball caps. They are rims with a black cap in the center. Behind the cap it looks like a turbine. I know this only because I owned a 1982 trans am.

I also owned an 82 Trans AM. 302 cubic inch 4-speed that drove like a boat!! I was always afraid of losing the wheel discs and after a while just removed them and left the "turbine" rims see the light of day. And here is a picture.... I just had to have those t-tops!!

Hahaha, you know how many of those I worked on, they are steel rims with a full black plastic hub cap. Yea, when I fist saw them, they looked cool at first until I got close up to see the real deal. Not like what Phil has up there. Still a pierce of junk, watch Gung Ho, with Tom Hanks, it's used as an example. Now I'm talking the body style, Firebird, Camaro, same thing. Now if it was pre 70, whole different ball game, great cars back then. But hey, I'm a Z guy in a Z club, and will bash the heck out of American cars.

Paul, the odd thing is that the wheels shown in my picture ARE the wheels that the pie plate discs covered. Not sure why I found the center hubs though. Also not sure why Pontiac would have covered rims that were pretty close to being presentable and just forgotten about using the pie plates. They probably were used for aerodynamic purposes. They sure did fly pretty when they came off at 70 mph!!

You don't have to twist my arm, Paul! One of these times I will share my
horror stories about GM vehicles, and Chevies in particular. And it has
only gotten worse, and will continue to get worse, now that GM stands for
GOVERNMENT MOTORS.
FWIW, ~Rick~
