Hi everyone! Looking forward to meeting you at some upcoming spring functions... going nuts over here not having driven my 370 for over 2.5 months. Still only has 121 miles on it :x

Anyways, I always loved the 84-85 Z31's, as they were the latest and greatest available when I was just a litle kid, starting to appreciate my dad's love of affordable Japanese sports cars (he still has a Chryslet Conquest TSi with 24k original miles in showroom condition). My question is, what do you 'experts' think that an '84 Turbo with 16k miles (non-Anniversary Edition), 2 seats, no leather.. and in mint condition.. is worth? All original (even timing belt  ).

Frank - given your recent blasting of anything post 1978, you are not required to respond.

Just kidding, of course!

Thanks guys- Can't wait for the good weather...

OK.

Actually, I kinda draw the line closer to 1971.
1970, to be precise.

I don't use #'s myself, I am more of an alphabet guy. I start and end with Z's . . .

Tom Wasney and/or Paul Mackin are the guyz you wanna hear from on this question. They're saturated in these cars.

A photo would help them, tho.

It's worth whatever you want to pay. ($7500 for giggles)

Engine seals and rubber bushings are going to be the problem areas. Such low miles and older age those parts will fail soon if not already dry rotted.

My opinion is that the car isn't any more valuable than a Turbo with 125,000 miles that is in good shape...

Unless you are a collector, then you might be slightly ahead of the curve by 20 years.

These clean low mileage Z31s go on eBay all the time for $15000+ and never sell.

Price for parts??= $10 - $1000

Price for a JDM engine= about $3000

Price for repairing your own z a =few scraped knuckles and a few cuts

price for owning a amazing car?? = Priceless

there some things money can buy but for us there is nothing like owning a Z!!

For what this is worth , I had an oppurtunity to buy an 84 turbo,5pd, anniversary edition in very good condition with 90,000 miles for $3,000.
I know yours has a lot less miles but that's all I got for comparision.

According to this book I just bought a 1984 300zx Turbo in #1 condition is worth $11k in #2 = $7,700 and #3 = $4,950.

What do you think?
