 We are a Land of Plenty and a Nation of Waste. Enthusiasts in many other countries (such as Australia or Germany) have such a shortage of Zs and Z partz, they have to send all the way to the USA (not Japan) to get them. We have so many, we park 'em in the Back 40 and let them dissolve.

There should be no such thing as a "throw-away-Z". We should be ashamed.

I do wonder how much of this car can be re-cycled into other Zs, awaiting organ donors? If this one broke in half when we tried to pull it out, that might make it easier to access the good partz! :)

Sad, sad, sad.

*(And by the way ~ NICE CALL, RICK. The production date and VIN fell directly into your estimate. )

I see a side view mirror that I could use. I got first dibs.

How about I bring the trailer up there, see if I can hook up a power
winch to the trailer and then to the Z, and see what we can do?

Sounds like an excellent plan Rick I would like to come up and help too. So how much do you think we offer for the car 100 bucks?

Colin Sr., where's it located? If you can sic me onto it, I'll be up with
checkbook in hand and buy us (me and the Club) a partZ car. Hope
it doesn't split at the firewall like the one John T spoke about, that
would be El Messo Grande................

I see some fender and hatch emblems that I need.....If I'm lucky the
hood badge is still there..........and the hood latch and release........
already mentioned the mirror........original gauge and clock set........
bet there's a lot of other stuff that I can't think of right now...........
Between the stuff I got from Clive and this car I should have the pile
pretty complete for the '70, with a lot of stuff left over for the Club.......
I don't hold out much hope for the floor pans and frame rails, though.----
Would you believe ZERO?

Don't mind me, just thinkin' out loud. Just don't tell the guy about our
plans to I can steal it from him for us. (Sully, I didn't say that!)

I'll try and get hold of the owner again, it took him a little while to get back to me last time. This will need a lot of hands to get that buggar out of there.
I won't be much physical help, just had Rotator Cuff surgery.
The Z is located in Bethel, a few minutes of I-84.
I'll offer him $100.00 as suggested.
Colin sr.

If all goes well, I'll be going to N.Y. end of April, and going by there. So I could lend a hand then. Tiny Tim is back together, (my truck,) with it's new Centerforce 2 clutch and 4x4 I'll wank that out of there just the way it is. Just might have to move the canoe.

let's see..... we'll need a leaf blower, a brushhog, a winch, a chain, an E-tool, an airpump and a henweigh. I can bring some of that stuff, and if Paul can get enough room in there to back the truck up to it, we might get lucky.

Then, there's the fun of dragging it out to the road on locked brakes, and winching it up onto a trailer.

I want in on this......!

HEY WAIT! Maybe he'll trade us even for what's left of the Club Partz Car !!?? We could slide it right into the same spot this one is in now, so he could put all his lawn ornaments back where they were!

Mike, before you get all pumped up on this, take a long slow look at the driver's side fender.

But the tail lights, the emblems, the grille, the instruments......... 8)

Yeah, thankx for the reminder, Frank.
Forgot about the grille, mine has a broken mounting bracket. Add that
to the list I started above. Somewhere last Oct or Nov I submitted a
list of about 20 or 30 items, and Clive got me a few. So as I said, I'll
just buy the car, bring it home, pick off a few partZ, and "youse guys"
can bicker over what's left to benefit the Club. Auction, anyone?
