So let me understand, you want to use my tools, my garage, and want me to make sure everything is step up perfectly before you use them? And then criticize me for giving you a hand? Cold. Very cold. The gloves are off!

my younger brothers use to come off my house to use the garage for their cars. they would use every one of my tools and tell me how bad they worked and change their oil in my pan. then back their cars out and go for a test run, only they forgot to come back!! so, needless to say, i don't offer my garage anymore.it grew old picking up after doing a favor for people that should know better. no lost tools, no broken tools, no mess, no fuss, all's good NOW!!! don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Mike, Joe knows I am just giving him a hard time. I am at the house 3-4 times a week. When I am not working on my car...we are working on his car. Besides working on cars this is what he has me go through:

I never been out on his boat but I help clean poop from it! :D   8)

Well the car is in the final stages of finally being able to leave for paint. Just thought I would highlight the worst of the rust on this car.

I placed an order for new fenders from the dealer and have some used parts coming down from 1 tuff z. Rear hatch vents will be plugged from the inside and vents remain on the hatch. Later today plans are to finish cleaning the inside of the car out of dirt and loose crap. Also need to pull the brake booster and clutch master. A few bolts need to be drilled out of the holes where the rusted in and broke upon removal. I need to vaseline the dash ;) Important step...I can't lose another dash! Joe! Also need to por-15 the floors and clean up some surface rust on the seat brackets. More pics to come this weekend and hopefully she is on a traler heading to paint!

The car is now off to paint jail! Of course it left in the middle of a rain storm and at night.

The painter will be back up in two weeks to pick up some other parts but I did send down a set of NOS fenders and a rear quarter that was new and install on a car before I cut it back out. Next time I will send down head light buckets, inspection lids, and NOS rocker panels. I need to order one tabco repair part for driver side quarter and a BRE front spook air dam with ducts. Still have some time to make final pick on paint color as there is lots of body work to do. As you can see, I left some notes on the car for the painter.

Now with this car gone, I can help Joe finsh up his car and the blk pearl in the garage.....then I have to gt EVIL Z ready for the season.

hey clive, did you say you installed the bad dog rails in your old car? if you did , did they connect front and rear rails? did you have to take out the old ones or could you install over them?i looked at their ad and it talked about the 280 rails going over the old ones, but it didn't mention earlier cars.

Yes I did. They went right over the old ones and connected the front and rear together. Some work is required to do so but is not a huge deal. Both v8 cars have/had them installed.

How about an update on this car?

And what is the status of the dashboard? Is it available?

Dashboard is in the car still and not for sale.

The car will be back from paint in 2 weeks.
