Saw this on e-bay listed as a 69.

It's not a '69, nor even a '70. It MIGHT be a late '71, but certainly no earlier than that. And if he gets $500 for it, I'll be surpriZed.

HOWEVER ~ I wouldn't mind a roadtrip down to VA to pick it up if the price was right! :D

I agree w/Frank. The only way it could be a '69 is if for some reason
the entire rear quarter panels were replaced with Series 2 (notice the
flow-thru air outlets behind the quarter windows), which did not come in
till about VIN #22000, which would be late Jan or early Feb '71.

I suppose all the VIN and data plates could have been transferred from
a wreck to make it look like a '69, but that's a stretch because you still
have the original VIN on the driver side firewall.

Nonetheless, if it could be obtained for a realistic price, I will provide the
trailer to get it up here for our Club!

Now it's listed as a '72! But the VIN is obviously a '73 as John pointed
out, either a late 11/72 or early 12/72. The latest Nov I have seen is
#140458 and the earliest Dec I have seen is #137447, one of those
anomalies that Carl Beck addresses in the ZHome site.

Rick i don't know if you missed it but i posted the vin and the build date. i asked the Ebay seller and he gave me the info. he says 72 but it was built 12-72 so that means 73 right?[/quote]

He will have to pay someone to come haul it off to the crusher... it's junk. Looking at the rust damage, it would fall apart if picked up.
