Thanks again to Ross, and crew for putting on another world class Z-car outing.

We need to get these televised.

It was great to zee you guyz again today ~ glad you had a good time.
It's sad for me to think that this is IT for the year. Today's memories are gonna have to last me thru the winter until the meetings start again

Not necessarily, Frank. I was thinking along those lines too, but when I
addressed that to Mike Engelhardt and others, we basically said, "You
know, even if our Zcars are put away for the winter we could still use our
daily drivers and get together for "coffee and" or lunch or something
occasionally. Anybody else want in?....................Rick

Well don't forget that there is a "Fun Run" to Shelton next Sunday hosted by Paul Jenson. Check the "Upcoming Events" section for more information. Ross

Clive must be a magician, he turns mediocre Z's into stormin' things of
beauty. Then to top it off, he somehow doesn't tear up the grass or the
driveway w/a machine that could put down a 100' strip of rubber at idle!

BurnZ, you're about the 4th or 5th person who has suggested televiZing our events or Conference-Calling our meetings. There must be a thread of sense in that.

Bryan Little spent many hours in the weeks before the Picnic, piecing together a great collage of all our 2009 events. He even put it to music. It was supposed to run in a continuous loop during the picnic, but some type of technical Gremlin refused to let it communicate with the projector system in Ross' garage.

We're still thinking about a way he can share it with each of us this winter, maybe as a Christmas present? I can think of little else I would like more, than to watch 40 minutes of Z meets while I'm snowbound inside the house!

Yeah, Rick ~ one of my favorite pictures Tom Wasney took of the picnic was, "Evil Z watching over #13"! Like a Boarder Collie sheepdog guarding the flock.

I just wanted to say Thanks, to everyone who had anything to do with putting on the picnic. Which means anyone in the club!

A special THANK YOU to Ross, who so graciously allowed the use of his home again, this year.

And a very, very, special THANK YOU! to Frank, for making my trip, so extra special! I will never forget my first in person, CTZCC, function.

And Bob Sharp, i so enjoyed getting to meet, and know you. It seems like I've known you all my life!

And finally to Al and Mary, you 2 are totally a kick! I had the best time visiting with you.

In closing take care all my "Z" brothers, and sisters. Until the next time,

Dan

i am totally up for some coffee meetings. who doesn't like to chat over a cup of coffee? I would also like to thank everyone for making me and my wife feel very welcome at the outing. Hope to get to know more all of you as the years go on. It's because of people like you that make me wanna brave the cold weather to be outside to turn wrenches so i can get my Z up and running for the meetings next year. There was some amazing cars there and my head is flooded with ideas now. EvilZ your car is sweet. And i just love Frank's story about how he was reunited with his Z. And being that close to car #13 was an amazing feeling. It's nice to know that it's a part of our club instead of being in a museum somewhere. i feel honored to be a part of this club. Hope to see you all soon.
