Rags and EvilC are really itching to see how much faster a turbo would make their cars....they are scoping out the competition.

That is well worth the 10.5 k wow. gauges motor trany and turbo are worth well over 6-7k. almost impossible getting a ls1 with t56 for under 4k without doing a partout. Whoever has it good luck

Oh, man it's so tempting. :D I have a 350 4bolt in the machine shop, very slow project, not sure if I want turbo or N/A, that's the decision I'm at now. I have a s130 body, but I don't know, the 240 is so tempting. Maybe I need to go for a ride in one to help my decision. :D O decisions. O, by the way, crazy thought, how about a 350 with a blower and 2 turbos. Then add some nitrous.

Well that's not a good sign. I don't have 10 grand, but at least I can nickle and dime my 350 project until I'm retired if need be. :D

Now the car is in the Harrisburg, Pa area. The new owner says the driveline was done very well but the paint and bodywork leave a lot to be desired. He sounds like someone who is going to have the body done right. He also said the owner in Ct sold the car to keep from killing himself. Seems he was an older gentleman that thought the car was much too fast for him to handle.

We shall see.

Joe

Could be, Joe, but we'll see long term, right?
Harrisburg is right near Carlisle, so that could be the next stop.

....the thought of a LS1 Z capable of doing 150 in 3rd gear with stock seats and seat belts, no roll-bar or cage with what looks like limited suspension mods makes the hair on my neck stand up.

I guess at 150mph you don't need wipers either.

Nice 350 hood badge though.
