The deal is, the pics were lifted from our club website by some numbnut in Detroit trying to scam someone into buying a car he does't even posess....

I would strongly reccomend that if anyone is going to buy a car online, that they do what I do. I made the guy I bought my Z from send me a picture with him and the car, Him the car and a note in his hand that said Hello Chad, and then one final picture of Him, the car and the local Newspaper with the current date. Thats one way that you know you will not be scammed. If he isn't willing to do all 3 of the forementioned things then its a scam. Its that easy. Well good luck guys

Just a word in our own defense ~ we're not absolutely certain the picture was lifted off our website. The owner might belong to other clubs and surely might have posted the same very good picture on other sites as well.

That wouldn't make any difference in the overall scheme of things, but it would make me feel somehow better if I knew we hadn't been raided for the picture.
