I don't recogniZe that broken bushing-thingy. What was it in real life?

Pilot bushing.

All datsun/Nissan Zs have the same one as far as I know.

I replaced it with a Nismo Roller Bearing. Just never got around to uploading the pic till now.

OH! No wonder I couldn't picture where it fit into the injector system

I couldn't believe how destroyed it was when I removed it.

The Nismo roller bearing should free up a HP or two mated with the light weight flywheel , compared to that old junked bushing and my old hi weight flywheel.

I'm expecting this car to rev a lot freer and at higher RPMs than it did previously.

Progress sounds good, and yea, the roller bearing with the lightweight flywheel should get you some instant revs.

I hope so. I found a place that makes aluminum drive shafts for my Z.

Once I get back on my feet thats going to be my next drive-train upgrade.

Then a Kaaz LSD after that. But thats a long long way off.

Engine may be going in soon.

Mannn, that looks neater and cleaner than some models I've built as a kid!

If it runs even half as good as it looks, I'm stayin' WAYYYYY away from you! 8)

Is it easier for you to replace the whole engine/gearbox as a unit, instead of individually?

Definitely easier, and more time efficient. I have done it both ways.

Well, I guess we know how you spent YOUR weekend!

Will it be running by Thanksgiving?

Finally got around to installing the FPR, but ran out of fuel line, and realized I'll need a 90* fitting. This is what happens when you buy a part a year or more before using it.

Me and my buddy Nick popped my headlight buckets back in and bolt in some other misc items.
