I've been underway with the turbo swap, and rebuild, since the car is still in rough shape. Couple of pics.

Hi, Vagabond ~

I moved this Thread to the General Z Discussion, since it didn't actually apply to the Body/Styling/Appearance Forum.

This looks like a really extensive restoration! Not much of what I see looks like it needs a huge amount of work, tho. After you rebuild the engine and put the nose back on, replace the interior and such, where do you plan to go next on the resto? Will you leave stuff basically stock, or do you have any upgrades in mind?

The engine bay already looks as if you have clear goals in mind! Nice pics.

I was just about to add some of the body stuff. But that's cool if you moved it.

Lots of work to be done. Suspension and Brakes was done previously with Airjokie, Interior was replaced were damaged and black carpet and vinyl head liner added.

There is going to be a wire tuck, there are holes in the floor boards and one in the wheel well that need to be welded. I'm going to build another computer for the car, rewire for audio, video, and gauges and more power stuff.

Hopefully an LSD by next summer. Then some more body work custom head lamps and maybe some paint.

That's impressive.
I'm kinda fond of those pedals. Who makes them and how much, if you recall?

MOMO and $25 off Maxima.org :)

Good luck finding them new.

EDIT: I lied they are available again.
NEW cheap price

The only Pedal covers I like, but I need to refinish them.

Also the Parking brake handle, boot, shifter Boot and shift knob (not pictured) are MOMO.

Need some $$$ to get the wheel i want.

I like the way you've cocked the brake pedal over, to allow a shorter Heel-and-Toe. (Either that, or you BROKE it!)

Back in the day, we had to tape thin blocks of wood to one pedal or another (usually the gas) on our Healeys, to make it easier to just rock the outside edge of your foot over to blip the gas during double-clutches. Today, 'doubles' are hardly needed. The new 370Z has a 'Rev Matcher' feature which automatically speeds the engine to the precise RPM for butter-smooth downshifts.

I see most NISMO cars wearing those pedals ~ must be the right thing to do.

We once had a GREAT thread about wheels in our Body/Styling/Appearance Forum, but I erroneously erased it! PreZident Ross broke my magic wand over his knee for that.

I would really like it (and feel FAR less guilty) if we could start it there again. We had about a Zillion entries in it, with lots of pictures, so I'm confident many members would add to it if it started again.
