Well it all started with finding a water laek, only to find the inevitable. A hole in my fire wall, which was conceiled by the battery tray, not an easy find. After cutting all the rust and week metal out, I had a hole to where I could see my strut, and further down to where I can see inside the frame rail, and a little bit of the floor. So I'm all welded up, used some duraglass to smooth it out and fill any pinhole voids, for I don't have time to grind down my welds, for I'm just a novice, but it's stronger than before, I assure you that. Did some primer, black paint and undercouting where needed. Used new rubber matting inside, dried out all the wet carpet insulation and cleaned the carpet as well. While on the lift I got the new Ball joints in, new torsion rod bushings, along with the recent outer tie rods and rack adjusment. Did the alignment today and put it all back together. After that discouraging find, I realized when driving home today, ( with a much quieter ride than before, ummmm,) How much I love my Z car, well, all Z cars at that. I missed her.

Dang! Sounds like you built a new car!

What was the cause of the leak in the first place?
