Hello everyone... I have 2 race mirrors which are on ball and socket and are very sloppy. They flop and I frankly do not have a solution. Any suggestions....

Hey Stephen,
Those mirrors are notorious for loosening up over the years. Did you try what Frank suggested in the other thread about opening them up? and trying to tighten them? I have two extra sets but they would need to be sanded and painted to look decent. I will be giving these away at the Fall Outing so I'll wait for you to look them over and see if you want a set before offerring to others.

The other thing that I do is to watch e-bay for new or gentle used original sets. Believe it or not, I got a brand new set in the box with original mounting hardware for $65.00! Another set on e-bay went for over $400.00 so it was obvious the guy who sold them to me didn't know what he had. They were just listed as "Racing Mirrors". Anyway, let's talk more on the 18th and if you want one of my extra, very used sets, its yours. I don't think they are loose around the ball. Regards, Ross
