And he left tons of them, didn't he?
Actor, racer, philanthropist......the man even made spaghetti taste better.

Few among us will ever leave that much impact on the world.

Thnx Wazz~

I believe his daughter is taking over the food company, so may his food live on. I just updated my Netflicks, so I will be watching his movies for the next month ahead. Butch Cassidy is my very first memory of Paul and was my fathers favorite movie. ummmmmmm maybe that's why he named me Paul. I would have prefered Butch, maybe I wouldn't have got picked on as a kid, but then again a kid named Butch is the one that put my eye out. So now, I'm gonna catch up on some movies I haven't seen yet, can't wait. old movies rule.

What a wonderfully gifted and generous guy this was. My personal favorite movie was "Cool Hand Luke". If you've never seen it, go out and rent it. It's a classic. Ross

Moving my post and Frank's as I posted in the wrong place:

Frank's Post:

Couldn't agree more, Ross. My favorite too, but if I watched it even one more time I think I'd suffer a melt-down. I've seen it so many times now, I can recite everybody's lines.

Paul Newman gifted each of us with special, personal moments, over a long enough period for some of us to grow up in.

My condolences to Bob Sharp and any others who knew Paul on a personal level. To have a personal friend who is a world-wide Icon must have been a staggering experience. Bob wasn't "star-struck" by Paul, which allowed them to relate to each other on a level which we mere mortals can't understand. I feel bad for your personal loss, Bob.

Did you have a failure to communicate? Yea, good movie, along with Butch Cassidy. There are a few of his movies I haven't seen, but there on the way. Just a way for me to reminist and remember such a great man. I wasn't shure if Bob came on here to read my jibber jabber, but I too give my condolences to Mr. Newmans family and Mr. Sharp.
