86 1/2 is the newer model. I'm 99% shure, but anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. (s130 guy) (now very, very excited s30 owner) This is costing me nothing, per say at the moment except for seal kits and bushings for the tranni. I do things the hard way, I know.

Gee, before you make any decisions, see Katherine's cars first. She has to move for family reasons and can't take everything with her. She's a club member and is asking other members to help her out, in exchange for a real price break on her two cherished ZXs ($3000 for both cars).

She's listed in our CARS & PARTS FOR SALE forum.

I now show all 15 of my ZX's in the member rides section, hopefully i've brought the count near 100 for the club. Photo'd and uploaded the article from SportZ magazine with my previous 12 cars in it......

DANG, Tom!!! If I could count all those cars, we'd have OVER 100 in the MEMBER RIDES gallery! I don't think I've ever met anybody who owned so many Zs that they did an article about him! I'm impressed!

:o

(PS ~ We're up to 90 cars in the gallery now, thanks to Airjockie's recent contributions. We have two weeks left to gather another 10 cars. We just joined over a dozen new members who we haven't heard from in the INTROS forum yet, so they might have a dozen cars to add, which will take us to our goal)

Well in that case, can I add my convertible, and a ghost of a parts car. Does half of a car count? This made 9 total this summer on my property. In reality, I've had about 20 good Z's in my time, and about 10 parts cars. I forget anymore.

Every man's dream, every wife's nightmare.

I want it and I'm willing to move out to have it!

**YES! Your parts car(s) are acceptable if they still have a VIN number on them and they are yours.**
Everyone lusts over parts cars ~ it makes their imagination run rampant.

I've often said one of the best-selling calendars would probably be a collection of old Z parts cars. I'd bet they'd sell well.

Then there is the 78, I still have the vin. plate does that count? The 81 before strip down, no floor board supports, wouldn't pass inspection, I wonder why, It drove just fine.

pics. not in order of course. My mini junk yard is all fenced in, and unnoticable, except for the planes that fly over. So then I'm waiting for this business to close someday so I can fit all my stuff under one roof. :D I think it's in P.A. or Jesey.

No Frank, all 280's. Here's the short story.....I saw a 280 in the yard with louvers and aluminum slot rims that would be great for my 240, hatch as well for mine had some rust on it. The guy said the owner wants to sell them as a package deal, I said what, he said there is 3 more out there. So the only way I could get those parts is to buy all 4 Z's, and well, I did, for $1,400. To prove to my wife I wasn't crazy, I said I could sell the rest of the parts. In 2 months I made all my money back, plus some, and still selling parts, so now my louvers and rims, became free. That'll teach them junk yard scavengers, ha.

That's a good story, Paul, and a good deal.

But I find it SAD that we Z owners seem to spend so much time proving to our wives we aren't crazy
