DEAR CTZCC MEMBERSHIP:

We are SO CLOSE to reaching President Ross' goal of having 100 cars in our MEMBER RIDES forum, that even our existing members can help us out at this point!

All members who own MULTIPLE Z CARS or ROADSTERS (or both) are asked to contact our WebWizzard Jim Hagani (WebMaster@CTZCC.Com) and get an account password for EACH of your cars!

That will increase our current total to about 90 cars if my guess is correct. When Ross announced this goal, we had 42 cars in our "Paddock". As I write this in late September, we have about 80! We have but 3 weeks to gather the final 20 cars, and I bet our existing members have nearly a dozen cars unaccounted for.

THEY DON'T HAVE TO BE REGISTERED OR ROADWORTHY! PARTS CARS AND GARAGE QUEENS ARE OK AT THIS POINT!

AIRJOCKIE, MIKE ENGLEHARDT, PAT BURNZ, SCOTT COLE, JIM HAGANI, even ROSS HISSELF, and several other members can contribute to this goal ~ they each have more than one car and EACH ONE can be entered individually. Is it a Datsun? Is it yours? Enter it!

PLEASE DO THAT and let's see how much farther we can get to our goal of 100 cars in the MEMBER RIDES gallery by 18Oct.

You NEW MEMBERS, please don't delay entering pictures of your car(s) in our MEMBER RIDES gallery. We are running short of time to reach our goal of displaying 100 cars by the 18th of October, and your new addition is VERY IMPORTANT now. Your car doesn't have to be waxed or even complete ~ we all have had our hands dirty and each of us enjoys seeing Z cars in various stages of progress. Whatever condition your car is in, please enter it in the MEMBER RIDES gallery today?

Thnx everyone!
Z Ya!

Hey Frank,

Thanks for rallying the troops as only you can! I just want to clarify something so that people don't get confused.

Consistent with Frank's message, we want as many cars uploaded onto our Member Rides section as possible. That being said, the raffle will be drawn based upon the number of MEMBERS that have uploaded pictures, not the number of ID's or pictures that have been uploaded. So people that have picures of more than one car uploaded will only have ONE name in the hat. Please don't let this prevent you from uploading pictures of all of your vehicles though!

Thanks, Ross

No, thank YOU Paul, if you have more than one car you can help us out with! I would love to see a calendar full of old 240Z partZ cars! Half stripped-down, some usable partZ still visible here and there..... I bet it would sell pretty well if I offered it within the Z community!
What do you think?

Dang, Tom! Everyone loves your present car, but this one is beautiful too. Whatever became of it?

That is nice, now I can't wait until I get my 86. I'm trading my 81 for it. I don't need 3 s130's, 2 is enough. The guy is in Conn. I asked him to check the club out so I can see my old car sometime. Again, that is one nice z31, I like the rims.

Thanks Fank and Paul, i owned that car for about 3 1/2 years, believe me, thats like some one else owning a car for 10 years the way i go thru them, was a nice ride. Got the rims and tires from Barry Cohen in NJ, he had em on his z32 then he got Infinty G rims, got the whole set from him for $400, really set the Z31 off nicely.. Definitely gave the car some handling prowess also... Sold the car to a gentlman a couple of blocks away from my house, he bought it for his grandson upstate.... As soon as i sold it i was missing it, but i finally ended up finding my 85 and it's been a love affair ever since, think i'll keep this one a while

Mannnn.....that's not fair! So many people go thru life without ever owning a Z car, and Tom's had about 90 of 'em! No wonder nobody can find any left ~ Tom used them all up.

I really like the Jeep parked beside your old Z31, too. Makes me think of home, somehow.

Guess I need to scan in some pictures of my first Z, a 1980 280zx. Look familiar? Now you know why I searched for my current Z when the time came to relive my younger years.

I believe this is a picture of my wife and I headinmg down to Georgia on vacation in 1981. My how the time flies.

Phil

Well this is going to be the new Z in my collection. I only had 1 z31 in my life, it was a 2+2, I don't like 2+2's. (for me) I'm trading my 81, after I install a better tranni. (front and middle countershaft bearings are wasted,) then the new owner can finish the body work and paint it. I have to install the spare engine he's giving me, due to timing belt failure. I just can't have enough Z's. I'm up to over 30 in my life time, can't even remember all of them.
