Hi Gang,

Really making progress on my "Z"...... fuel issues are all squared away, just waiting for a wheel cylinder. Been doing alot of body work, and cleaning up the interior!! It hasn't been on the road for 2 yrs. and has become sort of my garage on wheels!!!! I dismantled almost everything in the cockpit, too get the fried harness out, and to put in the "new" one I got from EBAY.

I think I did O.K.... new dash harness, engine harness, fuse block, ECU, brain box, fuel pump, ignition coil, fuel line from pump to filter, 6 injectors, head liner.....and now it RUNS.

Been along 2 yrs. w/out my "baby", but am starting to see light at the end of the tunnel!!

Here are some pics. of the work in progress.....May as well go with original color, BRG!

Take care,
BigGar

This is what I really enjoy seeing ~ somebody sending us pix of a work in progress. We may never know who among us might actually learn something from such progress pix, but each of us can enjoy them.

I recall Gary bought a new rear bumper kit for this car, got it installed and now has it removed again ~ such are the trials of Z ownership. And thanks Gary ~ I kept wondering who it was that took the time to paint the insert of his "Eisen Kreuz" wheels and made them look that good, but couldn't remember where I had seen the photo. Now I can try to post a picture of your wheels in an ongoing discussion in another forum:D.

Keep up the good work and keep us posted!

Frank T
