I JUST SPOKE TO A BUDDY OF MINE WHO MAKES CUSTOM TURBOs AND EXHAUSTS FOR BUICK GRAND NATIONAL STREET CARS AND RACERS. HE OFFERS TO MAKE CUSTOM TRICK EXHAUST CUT-OUTS FOR ZCARS, AND CAN FABRICATE CUSTOM TURBO STUFF AS NEEDED, ANY DIAMETER. HE DOES REALLY FIRST-QUALITY WORK, AND USES CHROME OR STAINLESS FOR HIS CREATIONS. HE'S LOCATED MID-CONNECTICUT AND SHIPS EVERYWHERE.
YOU CAN SEE HIS WEBSITE AT "BUICKGN.COM"
TELL HIM YOU READ IT HERE.

That's some pretty awesome looking exhausts on his website...thank you Frank for introducing us to him - I'm sure there will be plenty of club members in need of his services!

Perhaps we should create a new forum area where members can post info and testimonials about Connecticut-based facilities (repair shops, junkyards, custom fabricators, etc.)?

Jim,
I think creating a new "Vendor" thread would be a great idea. I personally have been developing a number of new Z-related contacts in the area that have been recommended to me by others or that I have personally used. Personal references are far better than the phone book! Some that I would put onto the thread are as follows:

Personally used and satisfied with:
Bob's Auto Body - Norwalk, CT
Sign-a-rama - Norwalk & Danbury, CT - pin stripping

About to be used:
Louis Santiago - Ridgefield, CT - detailing

Highly referred but not yet used:
Sounds Incredible Mobile - Danbury, CT - stereo, NAV, etc.

Ross:

I think we should also encourage members to voice their concerns about vendors with whom they have had unsatisfactory dealings...

Any suggestions on what to call this new forum area? Perhaps "Z-related Vendor Raves and Gripes"?

Good idea about posting both positive and negative feedback. Your title works for me! Thanks, Ross

OK, we now have a dedicated area of the forum where members can discuss the experiences (+ or -) they have had with local Z-related vendors...

It's in the MARKETPLACE section, aptly called "Vendor Raves and Gripes".
