I visited our Clubbie Tom Bork in NY ystrdy and again saw his 1969 vintage racer #HLS30-00008. Tom described a collision btwn his classic Z and our Clubbie Doc Robbins' original 1969 vintage 240 #HLS30-00006, the original Bob Sharp car! These are the two earliest Z cars left on the planet as far as we know.

Both cars were damaged but nobody was injured. Apparently this happened during a vintage race last year while I was hiking around Germany without internet access. Did anyone else get any information about this?

That followed the earlier collision btwn our Clubbie Mark Lydell's 240Z Vintage racer and an XKE Jaguar Roadster which had inexplicably STOPPED DEAD on the straightaway at LRP.

First time I've heard about this. Glad nobody was hurt. Will the cars be repaired?

I have actually been contacted about this since my post. The collision happened PRIOR to last year and yes, both cars have been repaired.
