While working in engine bay of my 260 roadster (sbc) I was pressing my right knee I thought against the front fender, however, it was the clear plastic headlight cover and I cracked it.

Looking to see if anyone happens to have as set or a passenger side only

Any info would be appreciated

thanks in advance
John Durand

Hi John! Good to hear from you again, even if it's with bad news.

I'll trade you for more bad news: these headlamp covers have become scarcer than hen's teeth at present. Two companies still make them, but the cost is laughable. I have an original Datsun set on my car, which are so sought-after I have gifted them to a Clubbie in my Will. The car will go to one person, but my lamp covers will go to another.

Hope you find some Good Samaritan in the Club who is tripping over a spare pair of these and is willing to part with them. Most of us have sold ours to pay for our kids' college education.

Thanks for the good news Frank, always good to hear from you. We're about to redo our will so perhaps your idea is a good one. Anyone who can supply me with a set will get them back via our new will.
Hope all is well up there. We're just chilling at the lake and watching time pass by. No, I repeat, no car club weekly events down here at all. One local town has a once a year large car show but aside from ATLANTA caffeine and octane and 3 others they are all very difficult to get to. Atlanta event really requires an overnite to allow very early morning entry and I'm not parking my car overnite in Atlanta. Get there later in morning and getting close is not easy. Anyway, we miss our northern friends and hope things start getting more active up there this coming year.
