The weather today was so inviting, I pulled the Z back outside and put another 23 miles on it. Added more fuel and Stabil, checked tire pressures, and drove it a lot above 4,000 rpm. Very rewarding.

:D

Only 23 miles Frank :?

I'm glad you took advantage of the weather, good choice! My Z ran terrific when it was a little cooler out in the fall.

Yeah, 23 miles was all I could get away with in the time I had. Very busy house this week. Glad to escape even that little bit.

I wish you still had your 260! Are you keeping up with it? Do you know who has it now?

Frank, you are right, a great day for one of those last drives of the season.
Stopped by Bedini Motorsports to see what Vinny was up to. Attached some photos
of Christmas ornaments Vinny was putting together. How would you like to find
these in your stocking?
No, that's not my driveway!

Vinny's shop is so cool! Thanks for sharing these Colin.

Frank no actually, I haven't heard from the new owner since the last photos I posted here in my thread. I assume he still has it after all of that work but I don't know for sure.

If you had a holiday houseful than yes, you are lucky you got out at all! I'm glad you did.

Glad to hear you're driving that Z again Frank  . Evy and I took our Z out on Saturday also. Great day for a ride and celebrating our 52nd anniversary with a nice seafood dinner in Branford. We put on 70 miles that day. And to Jay's point, I think all of our old Z's seem to run better with that denser cool Fall air pumping though those straight six jewels. It's like putting on racing stripes and getting 15 more horsepower :P !

I stopped in to see Vinny a few weeks ago also. I love what he does with those Z and 510 motors.

Cheers!
John

Happy Anniversary John! I'm glad to hear you got out in your Z too.
