What a great year that was! I have vivid memories of every one of those events except for the Sandy Hook meeting ~ that might have been the day my kid had her parent/teacher/student outing. (I remember missing one CTZCC meeting for the first time; that was probably it). That Bob Sharp Day at LRP was my Z's first debut to the Club; people had heard about it but never seen it. I let MarcA-S30 drive it around the track. He was like a kid in a candy store.

So many family faces there, some no longer among us.

Thanks Ross ~ a long walk down Memory Expressway. I remember little Graham chose an alarm clock as his raffle priZe at our Middletown car show, Keith brought a hotdog wagon to feed us, and Middletown Nissan gave us all free nitrogen in our tires. Bryan Little rolled #13 and #171 backwards off their trailers BLIND, with the tarps still covering the cars. It was Rick and Cathy's first Club meeting and they went home with trophies. Jimbo and Carl Beck flew all the way up from Florida to Zee the cars, and were rewarded with perfect, zero-humidity weather.

"Preserve your memories, they're all that's left you".

My first season! The last event! The 2009 fall outing was awesome even if I didn’t have my Z ready for the show.

I remember you smiling constantly all day and talking "Zs" to everybody   The next year Thor said your black-primered road rocket looked "dangerous", and presto! You became owner of "Dangerous Z".

Driving back toward New Haven together from your car's debut meeting at Keith's marina, cruising side by side down I-95 with our pipes harmoniZing is one of my happiest Z memories.

I truly loved that moment too! And extremely happy my wheels didn’t come off due to lug nut issues. I remember the next day seeing my wheel almost fell off lol so many good times with this club. A big reason I’m still here is I was told I can’t quit a free club lol my ultimate goal is to get another Z and in true Irv style have someone else drive it for me to meetings like my 68 mustang I have now. You are all very special to me!

Heyyyy....if you can drive a Z 200-miles without a clutch, you could probably drive it on 3 wheels, too. 8)

Another awesome day! When you walked over and said to me so confidently that I’d be ok I think I just felt good. Almost considered keeping it that way. By the time I got back home I had almost mastered down shifting without the clutch too. It was fun! Fun side note. I teach spin class over at the Naugatuck YMCA and I play Alice’s Restaurant in some of the classes haha Are you still asking a super high price for the 240?…
