The world's first Milion-Dollar 240Z, and well worth it.

Incidentally, the three classic Zs shown in this Concours d'Elegance photo are all stable members of our CTZCC. Far left is our member John Taddonio's award-winning 1970 car from Rochester area. Center is our member Tom Bork's vintage racer HLS30-00008, #27, of Doc B Racing from Rochester. It has it's own esteemed history as Elliot Ford-Robinson's (EFR) car and show-circuit racer. It was Datsun factory's first designated Z race car, sent from the factory with complete roll cage and internal race set-up. This car has a HotWheels car modeled after it.

And of course the famous #33 is our member doctor Allan Robbins' (Sharp-Site Racing) famous 1970 Giant-Killer racer from the early '70s, also in Rochester. This was the C-production car which repeatedly defeated the mighty A and B Production 427 Cobras, Mustangs, Camaros (as well as an onslaught of various European race cars) to carry Sharp, Fitzgerald, Newman and others to numerous victories, and was also young Scott Sharp's first big-league competition car as he was learning to play with the big boys. Well worth the asking price.

Quite a breathtaking collection.

Frank

Iz Doc Robbins the current owner/seller? Paul Mackin and I were fortunate enuff to view 06 in person on a Rochester club excursion to Robbins' shop some years ago. He rolled into the garage in a GT40 to give us a personal tour. Had/have some pics somewhere, including the shop's lot packed w/ our Zs. Still recall Taddino's Z w/ a seat belt hanging out the passenger side door
Z on!

Al
