Foose is an automotive design genius in my book. While many of his designs cater to more resto-mod themes with super low chassis, which was not my thing, other designs, including this one of the new Z seems right on. His comments on the new Z's headlight design and placement for example, is a feature that I also wished was different on the new car. It sure was cool to hear him praise the design of the original Z design  .

Thanks for sharing this link with us Karl!

Gee. I wonder if Chip Foose could actually do these modifications for $40G (double? the cost of the car(as per his comment)?) It might be worth it to have a "Z" and a one-of-a-kind Foose creation for under $100G. Break open the piggy bank??? Hmm. 8)

Agreed John.

Good post Karl!

I think Chip could offer design consulting for a fee to car manufacturers earlier in the design phase for projects like the new Z. Automotive designs in general would be far more appealing I think.

According to Foose's webite he has worked with OEMs in the past on prototype design stuff. Pretty cool.
