September and October are crazy months for car events. Did some Fall cruising this past weekend. Colin and I headed to LRP Saturday for the VSCCA Fall Finale, I took my TR3 and Colin drove his Z. Small event with lots of interesting cars, a beautiful day to sit at the Uphill, have a beer and watch vintage race cars!
Sunday was a solo trip in my Z to Cars and Coffee at Hayfields, just over the CT border in North Salem, NY. Hmmm... I wuz just a few miles south of there for the Turtle Garage Concours last weekend...Like I said, crazy months.
Got there a little after nine, the place was packed with lots of exotic machinery, you need to have a reservation to park in the lot!... $10 a spot. What!...Coffee, about a half hour wait!
Well I had to park in the 2nd overflow lot, which also had "way out of my league" exotics.
Some photos, Saturday LRP and Sunday C & C.

OH! Be still, my pounding heart!

Please tell us more about that LHD Aston-Martin Zagato, even tho its wearing a Siata license designation.

Frank

Frank, Siata 208 CS is an Italian sports car produced by Siata.
I don't think there is any Aston Martin connection....Although that grille looks a little AM.

That HAS to have been influenced by the 1959-1963 Aston DB4GT/Zagato.
I'm familiar with the Siata cars but never knew they made one like that! Wow.

Frank, it was actually the other way around, the Siata 208 CS Coupe was
designed, built in the early Fifties.
Here is another beautiful coupe that was at Lime Rock this past
weekend. . an early Fifties Ferrari Coupe. Deluxe T.51 Vignale. Unlike
the Ferrari's of today, it was about the size of an early 911. Looks
like all these early coupes had an influence on the 240 design.
