Sr. Vittorio Stanguellini would have been so proud to see how his lovely handmade car came out! Was Jim there?

That red-nose car across from the Stanguellini looks like it could be an O.S.C.A. or a Cisitalia 202?

Wow, what a great cluster of automotive history under one tent!

Did you take the TR3? Did you enter the 240Z? Did you or John win trophies?

Colin and Colin,

Evy and I stopped by your campsite twice Saturday but you were obviously busy roaming the track. We hope to see you at Lake George. BTW, My wife loved your little black TR3!

Send me a PM with your cell phone and I'll give you mine so we can connect next time.

The black TR was very nice, however not mine. Bluebird was home, not happy.

Frank....Photos of the winning Z attached, very original with 30,000 miles!
Lots of original paperwork, Colin had a chat with the owner.

Duh! Colin, I forgot your TR3 was blue, just got carried away since it was at your campsite I guess! The black one was exactly like my 5th grade teacher's car who was tired of seeing me always staring at it in the school parking lot, so he gave me a ride home in it! That got me hooked on small sports cars. Your bluebird is gorgeous!

Frank, my wife and I only attended Saturday's events as I'm really not much of a car show guy. We loved watching them race on Saturday. I will however be in the Concourse in Lake George by invite because of the 50 year celebration. I hope you make it there as the Colins' and JT will be there as well.

And yes, jim was there and he told me he had painted some of those rare cars next to the Stang. The Stang is supposed to be at the next Pebble Beach event.

How's your pipes?

That racy Aston Martin-looking thing is a very rare Siata 208CS coupe, one of only 18 made. Powered by a 2.0L FIAT V8 it made about 110 stock hp but could be boosted to 140hp with a cam and an extra Weber carb. At 2200lbs they were very competitive in their class (performance slightly less a stock 240Z, but in 1953-55) but their high price made for few sales. Plenty of cheaper English cars could out-race it, but none (not even the Jags) could touch it for quality and comfort.

 Haha! My pipes are fine, thank you very much; fully functional and in as good spirits as ever. 8) Thanks for asking.

However, my dual MSA Twice Pipes are still awaiting an appointment up on my local repair lift. They lost a short connector pipe which I trust will be available locally. I am considering having a small tack-weld placed at several points around both connectors to prevent this from happening again. I "fell" off a steep parking lot driveway onto the road and the body flexed just enough to separate the pipes. I will take the opportunity to have my new wheels and tires aligned while it's there.

I have reservations at the Roach Coach motel in Lake George and I expect to have my Z road-ready by then.
