Well, I sure hope a lot of folks showed up to eat that BBQ and soak up the perfect weather. My whole day went sideways and I never even got the car out of the garage.
Did anyone survive?

We probably had a couple dozen revelers arriving by land and sea. Representin' the Club were Gary and Janet in the GTR, Phil and Denise in his oh-so-clean drop top 370, and Keith who showed up on a paddle board w/ a 15 pack of Genesee Cream Ale serving as ballast! The BBQ was a smash hit, (I estimate 'bout 5lbs left to snack on for the next few daze) sides included private stock sweet corn picked that day, boutique hot sauce courtesy of a local entremanure and, of course, pond scum punch. Last time I looked at the clock it waz past 2a w/ no serious lawn dart injuries. A had time was good by all. Zee ya next time! Al and the Fair Ms Rene' |
