Summer has been moved up!
Somehow, Ross's weather wand has mysteriously made itz way into the clutches of WTNH's Joe Fury, resulting in Summer being declared a week ahead of schedule on 6/15/19!
Ground Zee-ro (get it?) for this event happens to be on a relaxing 'lil piece of real estate in far eastern Ct. on the shores of Pachaug Pond, known to the locals as Big Al's Bar 'n Grill. A couple handfulls of ya'll have been here. (even Frank Thomas!)
Festivities commence no earlier than 3p on said date and continue until we say so. (NO planz for church on Sun;).

Last year's attending luminaries:
Chris Karl, President for Life, ZCCA
Maurico Gomez, President, Ontario Club
Lou Pereira, VP Ontario Club
Frank Thomas ,whereabouts unknown

Menu includes (but iz not limited to);
Smoked pork butt (known to some as 'pulled pork')
Smoked Italian sausage (make up your own 'known as')
Shrimp Diablos
Sides, watermelon keg, pond scum punch
Genesee Cream Ale
(If thar be some concoction/confection that you can't leave home w/out, feel free to bring it along...yarr!)
As always, all Zs (and some guy w/ a GTR) enjoy exclusive parking on the main waterfront concourse.
Zee ya here!

Hokay! We're back online and set to jet! Thiz gig has finally been rescheduled for 24Aug19 w/ only a couple of minor tweeks. The watermelon keg may or may not make an appearance and there will be yard games (yard dartz(remember those?), bocce, frisbee horseshoes, etc.) on the main waterfront concourse. Oh, and we might need a victim or two to kayak just offshore serving as water balloon slingshot fodder.
Zee ya here!

Al and the fair Ms Rene

Thanks for the invite Al.

Sure looks like a fun day at you place. Sorry I can't make it that day :( as we have a family commitment on the 24th.

UPDATE:
26 lbs of mouth-watering brisket and pork shoulder have just come off the smoker for tomorrow's festivities. Bring an appetite. (And a hardhat/helmet if you plan on participating in the lawn dart competition.)
Zee ya here!
