The Italian car addicts at Lombardo's Motorcars on Berlin Tpk advise me their FIAT club has a full calendar this year and offers to share it with those interested. Prime among the near projects is a large AutoMobilia Auction to be held at 11am Sat/04May19, at: The Nest Egg Gallery, 758 Four Rod Road Berlin CT 06037 They offer "an extensive collection of racing items from 1910-1960s era; Photos, Pins, Pennant, Programs, Autographs Badge, Trophies, etc. "Included will be Stutz (Tacoma WA) winning race trophies from 1913-1914-1915. "This is the best selection of early racing that we have offered in 25 years. "Other items in the sale will include desirable sales brochures, US and Imports starting at 1900 Brass and classic era, European sports car, many large quantity dealer lots, plus books, original period photos, instruction manuals, toys, posters, petroliana, artwork incl Lydia Bugatti's original presentation drawing for the Bugatti Royale elephant mascot, die cut tire, porcelain and illuminated signs, Micheline marble building plaque, Peter Helk sketches. "The complete illustrated catalogue will be posted on-site around 01Apr19. We are still accepting a few desirable consignments.
