Thor reports from Spa there are about 100 Zs there and many other outstanding classic sports/racing cars. He sent a picture of an RSK Porsche, a Daytona Coupe Cobra, and rows upon rows of Z cars. I am trying to transfer the pics to here, but you all know that song......

Our German member Thorsten Link has sent two 10-minute videos of his car at Spa Francorchamps. He counted about 180 s30 cars from around Europe, and drove his own classic 240 around world-famous Spa Francorchamps racecourse along with over 70 other s30 cars, a few Roadsters and two GTRs! He's having a great time! Weather looks chilly and overcast but dry. Wish we all could be there with him. |

Here's one of the 30-minute long mixed driving sessions from Spa this year. This L28-engined 240Z from England has just been finished and is on its maiden voyage. After a warm-up lap to get the tires sticky, the driver pours the coal to it in a vain attempt to overtake that accursed (BMW? Skyline?) turbo coupe. Seven good 3:20 second laps result in the cold damp weather, averaging about 80mph over the 4.4 mile course. In the final laps he begins shifting at redline and drafting the coupe in earnest thru slower traffic. https://youtu.be/WXjQqRai_eI |
